Having wrapped up this semester with many memories, a handful of accomplishments, and a 3.6 GPA, I’d like to take a moment and reflect on the last couple months.
During the USJ Symposium Day 2026 I was honored and ecstatic to give a poster and oral presentation. This was a wonderful opportunity for me to share about my year long RSV research under Dr. Tremaglio. Here I studied CANX and CALR though different learned skills like cell culture maintenance, Western blot analysis, and ImageJ analysis.
Likewise, during the afternoon sessions of Symposium Day I presented my literary research on how climate change has affected fungal populations across the. I am so thankful for the leadership and mentorship of Dr Morgan as he has encouraged me along the way.
I am thankful for this opportunity and look back on those days with great pride.
Starting the summer, I’m excited to continue to work as a tutor and as a lab assistant at USJ while I start my EMT training courses. I’m honoured to be able to contribute and help my community to the best of my ability by working as an EMT.
The pursuit of education is such a honour to have!
